Fulldive is an amazing app which will ease you into the world of virtual reality (VR).
What do I need to buy?
All you need is a VR headset, a mobile phone (tablets are too big) and the FullDive app downloaded.
After, you simply put your phone into the headset and go! Here’s how to set up a Google Cardboard:
What’s in the app?
The graphic below, shows you the main screen with all the options that are available to you.
What can you do in the classroom with Fulldive?
The world’s your oyster but here are a few ideas. Get your pupils to:
- Ride a roller-coaster and then write a recount, focusing on feelings and emotions.
- Watch a 360 video about something they are learning about.
- Make their own 360 video; great for drama and when on school trips.
- Write descriptively after viewing an amazing 360 degree photo.
Have you used VR in the classroom? How? Leave a comment below.
Do you have a class set of mobile phones?

Hi, no, I have to ask the students to bring their own in for the lesson.

We used a class set of iPod 5s and whilst you don’t get the full width experience, it still blows the kids’ minds!
