Some Brilliant Websites & Apps To Create Word Clouds.

I recently taught a lesson in which it was important for me to highlight keywords; a few of them were new to the class.  I decided to ask the pupils to generate word clouds to find the words of most importance and then find the meanings.  It was an effective way of doing so.

Here are some great tech tools to use to generate the clouds:

Websites:

1. Wordle
2. ABCYA
3. WordClouds (my favourite – you can make the clouds into shapes – see below)

Apps:

1. CloudArt (Apple devices)
2. WordSalad (Apple and Android devices)
3. ABCYA (Apple devices)
4. Sparkie (Android devices)
